Sweeten The Taste of Salah!
The Prophet ﷺ said, “When anyone of you is engaged in the Prayer, he is holding an intimate conversation with his Lord.” [Muslim]
[Imagine] as soon as we say “Allahu Akbar” to commence the prayer, the barrier between us and Allah is lifted. He remains looking at you, facing you, and responding to you when you recite al-Fatiha as long as you are not distracted.
When you say Allahu Akbar, you are throwing away the worries of the world and fleeing to Allah (SWT) who is greater than it all, and is the only One who can remove your distress.
When you go into ruku, you are demonstrating your humility before Him. And when we go into sujood, it is the closest that we are to Allah (SWT).
How many of us, myself included fail to realize this?
May Allah give us the ability to worship him in the best of ways. Aameen!!!

Fatimah, the wife of Umar ibn Abdul-Aziz, once entered his prayer room and found him with his hands on his cheeks as tears poured from his eyes.
She asked, "O Leader of the Believers, what has occurred to cause you to cry?"
He responded, "O Fatimah, indeed, I have taken the responsibility for the nation of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and as I think about the state of the hungry, the poor, the lost, the sick, the oppressed, the imprisoned and the burdened, I fear that on the Last Day with the Prophet representing them as my opponent, no proof will be established on my behalf as their guardian. I think about my fate with pity and cry."

The LAST EVER verse of the Quran to be revealed to the Prophet (peace be on him) before his death.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "This is the last verse that was revealed to the Prophet (peace be upon him):
"And fear a day when you shall be returned to Allah, then each soul shall be paid what it has earned, and they shall not be wronged." (Quran Surah Baqarah 2, verse: 281)-Sahih Bukhari.
A PERSON MAY COMMIT A SIN AND ENTER PARADISE BECAUSE OF IT.
Ibn Al Qayyim (rahimahullah) said:
“Sin may be more beneficial for a person, if it leads him to repent, than doing a lot of acts of worship. This is what is meant by the words of one of the salaf:
‘A person may commit a sin and enter Paradise because of it, or he may do an act of worship and enter Hell because of it.’
They said: ‘How is that?’
He said: ‘He may commit a sin and continues to think about it, and when he stands or sits or walks he remembers his sin, so he feels ashamed and repents and seeks forgiveness and regrets it, so that will be the means of his salvation.
And he may do a good deed and continue to think about it, and when he stands or sits or walks he remembers it and it fills him with self-admiration and pride, so it is the cause of his doom.
So the sin may be the factor that leads him to do acts of worship and good deeds and to change his attitude so that he fears Allah and feels shy before Him and feels humiliated before Him, hanging his head in shame and weeping with regret, seeking he forgiveness of his Lord. Each of these effects is better for a person than an act of worship that makes him feel proud and show off and look down on people. Undoubtedly this sin is better before Allah and is more likely to bring salvation than one who admires himself and looks down on others, and who thinks that he is doing Allah a favour. Even if he says words that indicate something other than that, Allah is the Witness over what is in his heart. Such a person may feel hatred towards people if they do not hold him in high esteem and humiliate themselves before him. If he were to examine himself honestly, he would see that clearly.”

Ibn Al-Qayyim said, “The heart on its journey towards Allah the Exalted is like that of a bird. Love is its head, and fear and hope are its two wings. When the head is healthy, then the two wings will fly well. When the head is cut off, the bird will die. When either of two wings is damaged, the bird becomes vulnerable to every hunter and predator.”
